Agenda includes an introduction to volunteer opportunities and requirements, distribution of the Volunteer Handbook and Policy Manual, an overview of VolunteerMatters sign in and scheduling of volunteer shifts, on-site safety issues and assignment of volunteer shifts.

Volunteers are currently most needed for the following tasks:
Warehouse Assistants – Tues – Fri 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
responsibilities include — receive and organize donated items; clean and test items before placement on the sales floor; move purchased items and help customers at the donation center/loading dock
Sales Representatives – Wed – Fri 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
responsibilities include – greet and assist customers in discovering items of interest; ; respond to questions re policies, pricing and the mission of Habitat for Humanity;
Volunteers may work a 4 or 7 hour shift, one or more days per week.
The ReStore is open Wednesday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm
The ReStore generates funds that are allocated to building homes in Ulster County. We could not exist without the help of volunteers so please consider joining our team.
