Are you interested in helping your local community? Perhaps you are you that listening ear that friends and loved ones always seem to turn to. Family’s hotline training is just what you’re looking for!
A new series of trainings begins mid-September and will be conducted virtually, and in-person. Participants must have a camera, headphones and internet access.
Training Schedule:
Monday 9/11, 9 am to noon – Listening Skills part 1
1 pm to 4:30 pm – Listening Skills part2
Tuesday 9/12, 9 am to noon – Domestic Violence and agency programs and procedures
1 pm to 4:30 pm – SafeTALK – suicide prevention
Monday 9/18, 9 am to noon – Imminent Risk and Safety planning
1 pm to 4:30 pm – Ethics and Boundaries
Tuesday 9/19 9 am to noon – History of Family & Sexual Harassment Prevention
1 pm to 4 pm – Self Care
Tuesday 9/26 9 am to 5 pm -Mental Health First Aid
Friday 9/29 1 pm to 5 pm – Cultural Responsiveness
Monday 10/2 1 pm to 4:30 pm – Trauma Informed Care part 1
Tuesday 10/3 1pm to 4:30 pm – Trauma Informed Care part 2
