Please note:
Stone Soup day is canceled and all plans for the garden this year is currently postponed until further notice. Use of the current lot was revoked. We are trying to get permission to use the lot for one more season (this year). Next year we will be relocating.
It’s almost time to open up the garden to the public again!
Here is what we have going on in April:
On the 18th, we will be getting the garden ready for planting.
On the 22nd, Earth Day, we will be planting seeds.
And on the 25th we are having Stone Soup Day:

You provide the stones – we’ll provide the soup!

Please join us for an Earth Day Service Event at the Ellenville Community Garden! Help us get the garden ready for the growing season and build stone paths to protect the beds. Learn about how you can volunteer to be a part of making this garden flourish all summer long! If possible, please bring a few flat stones to use for the paths. We will provide the soup!
If you are interested in helping, you can call 647-2443 and ask for James. If I’m not in, you can leave a message at extension 301. All ages are welcome!

WHAT: Stone Soup Earth Day Celebration at Aiyana Community Garden
WHEN: Saturday, April 25th, 10am-1pm
WHERE: Ellenville, NY on Center St. between Rt. 209 and Market St. 12428
WHO/WHY: Family of Ellenville / Help get the garden ready for the growing season by building stone paths to protect the beds.
JOBS & SHIFTS: Pitch in to create stone paths
PERKS: Soup will be provided! Free parking near by.
DETAILS: Bring a few flat stones to use if possible. All ages welcome! Free parking onsite and surrounding streets. Drop in or stay entire time. (UlsterCorps Director Beth will be volunteering at this.)
