 ’s African American Festival returns to Kingston Point Beach on Saturday
 \, August 8\, 2026\, from 12pm to 7pm — and this year’s theme\, “400
  Years &amp\; Beyond\,” invites us all to celebrate the depth\, resilien
 ce\, and joy of African American culture\, right here by the water.\n\nJoi
 n us for a vibrant day of community and summer celebration featuring live 
 music performances\, a Children’s Village full of activities for the lit
 tle ones\, a dedicated Elder’s Area to honor and gather with our elders\
 , great food\, and amazing vendors set up along the beach. Whether you com
 e for the music\, the food\, the vendors\, or simply to be in community\, 
 there’s something for every generation.\n\nTogether we rise — bring yo
 ur family\, bring your friends\, and meet us at the beach for a day you wo
 n’t want to miss.\n\nVolunteers are needed for setting up and breaking d
 own the stage\, parking attendants\, and helping vendors find their assign
 ed spaces. There is a volunteer planning meeting August 6th at 5:30pm at 1
