Saturday, October 17, 1 – 5:30 pm
13th Annual Woodstock Fine Art Auction featuring art from private collections and estates of historic and national/international interest. There will be live, phone, and online bidding.
Volunteers are needed to carry the artwork from one room, to hold it up high so the audience can see it, and to parade it back to the close-out room. This might take some strength, especially for the large pieces.
We have hour- long shifts, and a volunteers is welcome to stay for 2 or 3 shifts ( or as long as they can).
Shifts that are available are:
3 pm to 4 pm
4 pm to 5 pm
5 pm to 6 pm.
There will be sandwiches and beverages for volunteers, as well as an orientation.
This is a fun, lively and exciting event.
This year’s auction will give attendees a rare opportunity to buy original artwork created by an array of esteemed artists including Auguste Renoir, Alice Neel, Antoine-Louis Bayre, Robert Motherwell, Philip Guston, Franz Kline and many more.
