UlsterCorps and WAAM are proud to announce Arts for Ulster, a unique event designed to foster volunteerism, build community, and raise money to support services for Ulster County residents. We will auction over fifty works of art, each by a different artist, each benefiting a different not-for-profit. Arts for Ulster will premier at the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum with a Gala Preview Reception on Friday, June 11th from 7-9pm and continue with a five week gallery exhibit. The exhibit will culminate with a live auction fundraiser on Saturday, July, 17th from 6-10pm. All events will take place at Woodstock Artists Association and Museum
28 Tinker Street, Woodstock
A performance at the Gala Preview Reception of Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik will be donated by Esopus Musicalia, whose mission is to provide transformative chamber music experiences through innovative programming: linking history music and art. Classical guitarist Liam Wood will perform the evening of the Auction. James Krueger will perform at the Community Opening June 12th at 12:30pm, and Rebecca Martin will perform the evening of Friday June 18th. A series of free Saturday Community Days with talks by participating agencies and artists is also being planned by WAAM’s Education Program, including a Youth Day June 26th with performances by POOK, Energy and other local youth groups.
