Angel Food East
Angel Food East, Inc. has expanded its mission to include those living with HIV+/ AIDS as well as those with chronic illnesses. We are working with the Office for the Aging, the Dept. of Social Services, discharge planners at local hospitals and Hudson Valley Community Services, Inc. to support our neighbors in need who may not be eligible for other nutrition programs in our area. We are in need of volunteer cooks, drivers, bag packers, general helpers, Mondays and Thursdays 7:30am-1:30pm to prepare and deliver hot meals to our clients. Catholic Charities (Kingston)

Happy to Help Food Pantry
located in the basement of St. James Church at the corner of Fair and Pearl St., Kingston, NY seeks volunteers ages 12 and older. Several opportunities exist of varying time commitments: 2.5 hours per month assisting with food deliveries, Saturdays 1:30 -4:00 pick up at the farmers market, Sunday morning to set up pantry, Sunday afternoons to assist while the pantry is open. People’s Place’s Food Pantry, Community Cafe Thrift Store has fun, safe and rewarding volunteer opportunities available for interested individuals, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-1:30pm and Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm-7:30pm. We need volunteers that can commit to volunteer at least 1x/week. We are also in need of Spanish-speaking volunteers.
