There are 7 drop off windows between May 1 and May 18th, at the New Paltz Reuse and Recycling Center, (99 Clearwater Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561) that they are seeking volunteer support for — interacting and educating, some light moving and lifting, and organizing and inventorying of appliances as they arrive.

If you want to volunteer, please reach out to Chrisso Babcock (Outreach Coordinator, Sustainable Hudson Valley) at communitybuilding.S.C@gmail.com, or just show up, they will be glad to have you as a surprise volunteer.
This will be a fun opportunity to do some hands-on volunteering, outdoors on nice spring days with a small team, and a great learning opportunity for those interested in Refrigerant Management. Poor management of Refrigerants is a huge issue worldwide, with emissions from refrigerants being roughly 10% of Total Global Emissions! Project Drawdown has listed Refrigerant Management as a number 1 solution for global warming.
We also appreciate any assistance promoting the event in general, either to your personal networks, professional networks, or through your social media, mailing lists and calendars.
