WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
This exercise will simulate a public health response to a large-scale bioterrorism incident requiring a large number of people to receive medication.
UCDOH is being tested by New York State Dept of Health on:
“Through-put” ( the number of people who walk through the drill, some more than once to meet quota)
along with Dosages given (medications will not be used). This is timed during the two hour period.
10% of the participants must be the special needs population (including seniors, expectant mothers, youth, etc.)
Volunteers will be required to pre-register through a NYSDOH computer link – that information will be forthcoming.
We need many volunteers to “walk-through” this POD!
