Saturday, April 29th is the annual textile collection and New Paltz Clean Sweep. Erica Wagner is asking students to help out and there is an online volunteer sign up https://www.newpaltz.edu/careers/cleansweep.html but we also need a few people at the Village Hall upper parking lot no later than 9am – noon to help collect, sort and box/bag up textiles. Anything usable will be bagged separately for delivery to local charities. Volunteers will be needed to greet people, collect information (town they came from and how they heard about the event, email if they are interested in newsletters or future events), direct traffic and sort items that come in.
