“Dream – Imagine – Become”
On June 21, 2014, our community will be celebrating the 9th Annual Midtown Make A Difference Day! For the last 8 years, this event has brought together people, businesses and agencies into Midtown for a day of unity and collaboration. We are continuing to spread the message that positive and exciting things happen in Midtown. With all of us working together, our community can be a source of inspiration and hope for our children.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to assist with service projects from 11am-3pm, planting a garden and painting picnic tables & the garden fence. If you can help please contact UlsterCorps at ulstercorps@gmail.com or call 481-0331 (or RSVP below). Thank you!

About this year’s event:
The 2014 theme is “Ready, Set, GO! Making a Difference Starts TODAY!” and all activities will focus on inspiring event participants to work towards making their life goals a reality. On the day of the event, Franklin Street will be blocked from Broadway to Prospect Street (adjacent to the Kingston Library) as we enjoy the day’s activities, including:
– Career and education exploration activities sponsored by BOCES Adult Education
– Cooking demonstrations, music, games, fitness challenges and other exciting events will take place throughout the day
– Dance performances, singing groups, theatre/skit presentations and music spun all day long by a local DJ
– Local agencies will provide information on community resources
